Report shows state's most dangerous intersections

Indianapolis - The Indiana Department of Transportation has improved its program to identify and evaluate the roadways and intersections in the state with the highest crash rates.

The 2007 Five Percent Report lists 96 intersections and 14 road segments for possible safety review.

Some of those areas locally include Michigan Road at 96th Street on the north side, US 31 at Thompson Road on the south side, I-465 within the I-865 interchange in Boone County and Pendleton Pike at Franklin Road on the east side.
