Butterfinger cookies

Recipe from Melissa Johnson of Clute, Texas

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
  • 1 stick of butter
  • 4 eggs
  • 3 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 1/2 cups crunchy peanut butter
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 8 miniature Butterfinger bars

Directions:

  1. Mix sugar, brown sugar, butter, eggs, and vanilla.
  2. Add peanut butter, flour, baking soda, and salt.  Mix.
  3. Cut up Butterfinger bars and add to the mixture.
  4. Put teaspoon sized dollops onto a greased cookie sheet.
  5. Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 7-9 minutes.
