For an entertainer, performing at half-time during the Super Bowl is probably the best exposure you can get.

Now, the NFL reportedly wants half-time acts to pay for the privilege.

According to the Wall Street Journal, NFL reps have asked some potential acts if they would be willing to make a financial contribution in exchange for the prime-time gig.

The NFL has reportedly narrowed down the list of potential performers for the 2015 Super Bowl to three candidates — Katy Perry, Rihanna and Coldplay.

The Super Bowl brings in a huge audience.

This year's half-time show featuring Bruno Mars and the Red Hot Chili Peppers drew in just over 115 million viewers, more than for the game itself.
