A chilly morning greets you as temperatures have dropped into the low 60s. Later today, our high will top out at only 71 degrees, which would tie the record for the coldest maximum temperature for the date.
That mark was established back in 1917!
We're not ruling out a stray shower or sprinkle today, but most of us won't see a drop.
By Thursday, we will see sunny conditions from start to finish and milder temperatures after near record lows Thursday morning.
A new upper level disturbance will get closer to us this weekend giving us at least a chance for showers Sunday. Long range indicators suggest a return to typical summer heat early next week.
