One lane of Interstate 70 in Hancock County will be closed for repairs starting Tuesday night.
The right lane of eastbound I-70 will be closed in the construction zone between SR 9 and Mt. Comfort Road starting at 9 p.m. Tuesday. Crews will be repairing the stone shoulder along the right lane of the interstate at that time.
The repairs are expected to be completed by Thursday morning. In the meantime, all eastbound traffic will be moved to the left lane.
INDOT and state police encourage drivers to practice safe driving habits, comply with speed limits and avoid distractions, especially in work zones.
