If Pharrell's "Happy" wasn't popular enough it just got the "Weird Al" treatment.

Parody artist "Weird Al" Yankovic released "Tacky" a take-off on the popular hit Monday, part of his "#8videos8days" social media release of his new album "Mandatory Fun."

The video for "Tacky", which was released on Nerdist.com, features Yankovic and comedians Aisha Tyler, Margaret Cho, Eric Stonestreet, Kristen Schaal and Jack Black in loud, colorful - yes, tacky - clothes, mimicking the original Pharrell video, which spawned a viral craze of its own.

The song's lyrics poke fun at the eye-rollingest worst of the social world, from fashion to name-dropping to Instagrammed pics of lunch.

"Think it's fun threatening waiters with a bad Yelp review. If you think that's just fine, then you're probably tacky, too," Al sings in one lyric.

As is the case with all of Yankovic's work over the past three-plus decades, he had to seek the original artist's blessing before he got to work.

"Thank you Pharrell, I really appreciate it. You're a cool guy," Yankovic said at the video shoot.

Monday afternoon, Pharrell told Billboard.com reporter Jason Lipshutz he hadn't heard the song yet, but was thrilled to be parodied by the master of the art.

"He wrote me a letter & I was like *GASP*!" Pharrell told Lipshutz.

Seven more new videos will be released on Yankovic's website over the next week.
