More showers and thunderstorms will be possible overnight and then likely by Sunday morning as a cold front pushes in. Temperatures will only fall into the low 70's with muggy conditions.
Showers and thunderstorms will push from northwest to southeast today. The timing is still a bit up in the air but it looks like our northern viewing could start to see some stronger storms by mid to late morning. The line of storms will move into south central Indiana by late afternoon. Some storms could be strong to severe with the main threats being damaging winds and large hail.
A few more scattered storms will be possible Sunday night with another round of rain possible on Monday as a second cold front arrives. These showers should be lighter in nature.
Monday will still be a humid day with temperatures climbing into the low 80's.
Cooler drier air will arrive on Tuesday, allowing temperatures to fall into the upper 50's.
A record could be broken on Wednesday morning, as temperatures fall into the low 50's. The record for July 16th is 49 degrees in 1945!
