OFFICER'S VISITATION:

IMPD Officer Perry Renn's visitation is today from 2-8 p.m. at Crown Hill Funeral Home. The 22-year-veteran officer lost his life Saturday after a gun battle on the city's east side. Follow this link for details his visitation, funeral and procession.

SHOOTING SUSPECT CHARGED:

The man accused of shooting and killing IMPD Officer Perry Renn now faces official charges of murder. Major Davis Jr. could face sentences such as life in prison without parole or even the death penalty. Read more about what prosecutors say happened the night Officer Renn was killed.

The 44th annual Black Expo Summer Celebration kicks off tonight with a special prayer and worship service in Indianapolis.
