INDIANAPOLIS - Colts wide receiver LaVon Brazill has been suspended for one year for violating the NFL's policy on substance abuse.

Brazill will not be paid during the suspension. He was suspended for four games at the start of last season for violating the same policy. After testing positive, he admitted to using marijuana and offered an apology.

"I messed up. I let my teammates down. I let the organization down. I'm trying to stay focused and keep moving forward," Brazill said last summer. "Everybody is looking at me different. I'm still the same guy. I'm going to come out here and work hard. I'm going to come out here and prepare like I'm starting the first four weeks and we'll move forward from there. I messed up a couple of times. But it's out of my life now."

Brazill came back to play in 10 games for the Colts last season, catching 12 passes for 161 yards and two touchdowns - both in Week 14 loss at Cincinnati. Brazill caught 11 passes, including a touchdown, in his rookie season in 2012.
