Northern Indiana prisoner admits to killing Indianapolis woman

A man in custody in far northeast Indiana admitted to killing a woman in Indianapolis, according to authorities.
Deputies with the Steuben County Sheriff's Department told IMPD detectives Tuesday that 48-year-old Jimmie Monday had admitted to killing 48-year-old Barbara PcPheter. Officers found her body in the 600 block of West Hanna Street.
Monday has been charged with murder but the investigation is ongoing and more charges could be filed.
