Even former heavyweight boxing champion Evander Holyfield, also a victim of a famous sports biting, chimed in.
"I guess any part of the body is up for eating," Holyfield tweeted Tuesday afternoon.
While the bite may cost Suarez some playing time, it made one Norwegian bettor some pretty good cash. Soccer blog 101 Great Goals posted a screenshot of a bet the anonymous person made that Suarez would bite someone during this year's World Cup.
At odds of 175-1, the bite heard 'round the World Cup made one person about $2,700 richer.
