Police say a Fountain County crash killed a man Saturday afternoon, a week before he was to be married.
The crash happened at about 4:30 pm at the intersection of Kingman Rd. and 800 South.
Jordan Rich, 19 was driving an SUV northbound on Kingman when he disregarded a stop sign at 800 South, according to Fountain County sheriff's deputy Dustin Bowling.
Rich's truck was struck by a car driven by Nancy Dyon, who had been traveling eastbound on 800 South.
Rich died at the scene. Dyon was taken by medical helicopter to St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis.
A passenger in Rich's vehicle, Andrea Green, 38, was critically injured and was transported to IU Health Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis.
Rich's fiance, Kadie Morgan, 18, and the couple's 15-month-old daughter Aubree, were also in the vehicle. They were treated and released from a Crawfordsville hospital.
Bowling said the couple had applied for a marriage license last week and had planned to marry next week.
The crash remains under investigation.
