A really wet start to our day early this morning as thunderstorms rolled through much of Indiana. At one point, after midnight, more than .70? of rain fell in the Metro area, especially just north of Indianapolis.
Another couple rounds of this kind of thing could occur during the day. In fact with our heat bubble now expanding into the Ohio Valley, it won't take much to trigger off thunderstorms during the next few days.
I don't think we will reach 90 today, but we will get close. In fact look for scattered thunderstorm chances, pretty much daily until Monday.
Temperatures stay above the average high of 83 until Tuesday when our highs will drop into the low 80's.
I will have more on this during the morning, Nicole Misencik has the latest update at noon.
