The agent for Tiger Woods says he is progressing from March 31 back surgery and starting to extend his swing.
Woods already has missed two majors this year while he recovers. Woods has said he is not sure when he will be able to return to competition.
A report on Golf Channel's morning show Tuesday said that he was taking full swings at his home club in Florida. In an email, Mark Steinberg of Excel Sports Management says Woods is feeling good each day.
"As each day passes and he feels that way, he lengthens the swing a bit," Steinberg said.
Woods is the tournament host next week at the Quicken Loans National at Congressional. It is not expected that he will play. The deadline to enter is Friday.
