U.S. TROOPS HEADED FOR IRAQ:

Nearly 300 combat-armed U.S. forces are taking positions to help secure U.S. assets, particularly the embassy in Baghdad. And President Barack Obama is said to be weighing other options to stop fast-moving Islamic insurgents.

GAS PRICES RISING:

Unrest in the middle east likely means higher gas prices here at home. The increasing violence in Iraq pushed the price of oil above $107 yesterday. That's the highest it's been in nine months. NO COLD BEER IN CONVENIENCE STORES:

You still can't buy cold beer in the convenience store. A U.S. district court upheld Indiana's law that limits convenience stores to only selling warm beer. A group of Convenience store owners have been pushing for a rule change. They want the same chance to sell cold beer, just like package liquor stores. The convenience store group says they are not done fighting.

PREVENTING DOMESTIC VIOLENCE:

Today you can learn more about the city's plan to prevent Domestic Violence. The Public Safety director put together a team called the Domestic Violence Network and they assembled a community wide plan.
