IndyCar team owner Sarah Fisher O'Gara has given birth to her second child.
Daniel James O'Gara was born Thursday afternoon to the former driver and her husband, Andy. Fisher's race team, Sarah Fisher Hartman Racing, posted photos of Daniel and his new family, including big sister Zoey, on social media shortly after his birth.
The team says mother and child are doing well.
Fisher, one of the most popular drivers in series history, hasn't raced since the end of the 2010 season.
She became the series' first female owner-driver when she formed her own team in February 2008. Ed Carpenter gave Fisher's team its first win in October 2011. The team was renamed Sarah Fisher Hartman Racing in December 2011 after Fisher formed a partnership with Kansas businessman Wink Hartman.
American Josef Newgarden is Fisher's lone driver this season.
