INDIANAPOLIS - A reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of the man that killed a gas station clerk.

The owners of Joe's Junction on Troy Avenue are offering the $10,000 reward. They want to help find the killer of 45-year-old Harry Briggs, who died after being shot during a robbery.

Surveillance video from the crime shows the suspect going inside the Phillips Kicks 66 on Troy Avenue. He shot Briggs in the head, then pointed his gun at another clerk as he shouted demands.

The robber got cash, then was seen skipping away across the parking lot.

In order to qualify for the $10,000 reward, you should offer information to IMPD robbery/homicide detectives at 317-327-3811.

(The $10,000 offer is not related to the Crimestoppers program. If the tip goes to Crimestoppers, that person wouldn't be eligible for this particular $10,000 reward. The person who provides information in an effort to qualify for the $10,000 reward might be required to testify in proceedings related to the robbery and murder case.)

Tipsters who wish to remain anonymous can call Crimestoppers at 317-262-TIPS, but they will not be eligible for the $10,000 reward.
