Scattered showers develop tonight in central Indiana; clearing Friday

INDIANAPOLIS -

Clouds will increase across central Indiana Thursday evening. A couple of showers are possible too from about 9pm Thursday through 9am Friday. This will not be a widespread heavy rain event.

Any clouds and showers that linger early Friday won't last long. We are forecasting sunny skies and Friday afternoon temperatures in the 70s.

Highs will be in the range of 70-75 degrees on Friday afternoon.

It will be clear and a bit cool for this time of year Friday night/Saturday morning, with lows forecast 50-55 degrees. It will be clear too.

There is lots of sunshine in the weekend forecast, with highs near 80 on Saturday and in the lower and middle 80s on Sunday.

More heat and humidity arrive early next week, with storm chances too starting later Monday.
