A Tornado Watch is in effect for areas along a Oaktown - Bedford - Seymour line and to the south in Southern Indiana.
This watch is in effect until 9pm. These storms could include a couple of tornadoes, damaging winds in excess of 70 mph and large hail one inch or larger.
The best perimeters for strong storms will be in southern Indiana. If you are heading south this evening, keep checking WTHR.com and your SkyTrak13 Weather app for the latest updates on these storms.
Later tonight, cooler, drier air arrives. The skies will slowly clear out with temperatures falling into the mid to upper 50s by Thursday morning.
Thursday will be a fantastic day with low humidity and temperatures will climb into the mid 70s.
The quiet weather will stick around until Saturday evening, when the next chance of showers and thunderstorms arrive. Showers and thunderstorm chances continue on Sunday.
