A bridge issue has closed Interstate 65 southbound in southern Indiana.
State police say the problem at the U.S. 50 exit at Seymour has closed the southbound lanes of the highway. The closure could last for several hours.
Southbound traffic is being diverted onto U.S. 50 at Exit 50, east onto U.S. 31, then south on U.S. 31 to Uniontown where it can re-enter I-65 at Exit 41.
Northbound traffic is not affected by the closure.
