Warming trend arrives today

INDIANAPOLIS -

A drier and warmer pattern arrives today after a chilly start. Temperatures are falling into the upper 30s this morning. A Frost Advisory is in effect for Franklin, Fayette, Wayne, and Union counties until 10am. High pressure will provide a quiet and sunny day with light breezes out of the southeast. Temperatures will rebound into the mid 60s this afternoon.

It will be clear tonight with temperatures still running close to 10 degrees below normal with lows in the mid 40s.

Warmer air builds in on Monday with sunny skies and highs in the low 70s.



A warm front could spark a few showers and thunderstorms Monday night, mainly in our northern viewing area.

The warming trend continues on Tuesday and Wednesday as temperatures soar into the low to mid 80s.



A cold front arrives on Wednesday, bringing a chance of showers and thunderstorms Wednesday afternoon through Thursday morning.

Carb Day looks fantastic on Friday with sunny skies and highs the mid 70s.
