Wet morning with a high of 85 today and a chance of pop up thunderstorms
Thunderstorms popping up in central Indiana
Monday, May 12, 2014 5:32 PM EDT
By Chuck Lofton, SkyTrak meteorologist -
Spotty showers and storms are flaring up in daytime heating over central Indiana. Heavy rain and lightning are likely in storms that develop.
Although it's a localized threat, damaging wind and marble-sized hail can't be ruled out in stronger cores this afternoon.
Look for a high of 85 today. The record high is 88 for today.
Storms are likely along an approaching cold front Tuesday with unseasonably cooler air to follow. Highs will only be in the 60s Wednesday through Sunday.
