A warm front will lift north today across Central Indiana, triggering more scattered thunderstorms. There is a slight risk of thunderstorms today, with the main threats being damaging winds and large hail.
Temperatures will soar into the low 80s today, running more than 10 degrees above normal.
Any thunderstorm activity will diminish after sunset. It will be mostly cloudy and muggy tonight with temperatures only falling into the upper 60s.
Record breaking temperatures will be possible on Monday. The record for May 12th is 88 degrees, set back in 1881. The forecasted high is mid 80s Monday afternoon, threatening to tie or break the over 100 year record. There is a chance of an afternoon thunderstorm.
