A gradual clearing arrives today as a cold front slides south. Scattered showers are diminishing from north to south this morning. Skies will become partly sunny this afternoon, with temperatures climbing into the mid 70s.
Clouds will increase again tonight as the front moves back north. There is a chance of a scattered shower or thunderstorm during the overnight with a low around 60 degrees.
Rain chances continue on Mother’s Day with spotty showers and thunderstorms possible. It will be mostly cloudy and muggy with temperatures climbing into the upper 70s to near 80 degrees.
Temperatures only fall into the upper 60s early Monday morning.
There is a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms on Monday with temperatures soaring into the mid 80s.
Tuesday will be stormy as another cold front arrives. Some storms could be strong and we will keep you updated on the chance of severe weather.
Behind the front, temperatures will tumble. Afternoon highs will be running several degrees below normal through the rest of the work week.
