As the Pacers prepare for Game 2 of the Eastern Conference semi-finals against the Washington Wizards tonight at Bankers Life Fieldhouse, they're also addressing issues off the court.
There's a new picture getting a lot of buzz on social media. The Pacers' Paul George sent out an Instagram photo with Roy Hibbert and George Hill, along with the message, "These rumors have got to stop! Its gettin old now.. and all you that believe them.. are ignorant! #Brothers.
George was making a reference to rumors about the players off the court.
"Just getting tired of the media and these stories. Just putting everything to bed, everything to rest," said Paul George.
"The social media pictures, since you guys keep making up stories, we're just trying to focus. Letting everybody know through all this ---- going on, rumors and all that, things like that, we're brothers. None of that's happening in this locker room. It's a tight group," said George Hill.
"It's tough to be an anchor team twice in a row in the playoffs. Our guys do have resolve. We got a good group of intelligence. They've shown much of this year an ability to sort of figure out a team. You like to start stronger than we're starting. They've been challenged about that both within the games and within the series. Hopefully we can make proper adjustments to get game two," said Pacers Head Coach Frank Vogel.
Fans at tonight's game will find rally towels on their seat. The Pacers are looking for a win tonight after losing Game 1.
Tip off is 7 o'clock tonight at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
