It will be mostly clear and still a bit breezy for Friday evening, but it will be mild with temperatures in the 60s through sunset. A weak weather system will move across the northern part of the state overnight and early Saturday. Expect a few clouds and a stray shower across the northern third of the state. Most of central Indiana will be dry and we will be focused on a warming trend. Highs are forecast in the 70s this weekend.
As that warmer air pushes our way, another stray shower or 2 will be possible later Saturday night or early Sunday morning. Don't cancel any outdoor weekend plans, as these rain chances are slim. The best chance for rain and storms arrives late Sunday night and will last through early next week. The warmest air will start to arrive on Sunday and will be in place on Monday and Tuesday.
With that warmer air, we will also be tracking a stormy weather pattern.
