Police identify woman killed in car-train crash in McCordsville

A car was struck by a train Tuesday night near McCordsville. A car was struck by a train Tuesday night near McCordsville.
McCORDSVILLE, Ind. - Police have identified a woman killed in a crash involving a car and a train in McCordsville.

Authorities say Evelyn Wasson of Indianapolis died in the crash. 

The crash happened near County Road 700 West and Pendleton Pike in Hancock County Tuesday evening. 

Video from the scene showed the car sitting just off the road, parallel to the train and an adjacent track. The train's engine is well east of where the car sits.

The driver of the vehicle was ejected about 20 feet from the vehicle. The driver was the lone occupant of the vehicle.
