A warm pattern takes over

INDIANAPOLIS - It will be a quiet and calm evening with light breezes out of the east and temperatures will fall into the mid 40's. Easter Sunrise is at 7:00am and the temperature will be around 46 degrees.

The wind will turn out of the south on Sunday, allowing temperatures to climb into the mid 70's. It will be mostly sunny with temperatures climbing 10 degrees above average. It will be a wonderful afternoon to host your family Holiday activities outdoors.

More clouds will filter in on Monday as a weak cold front approaches. Central Indiana will be on the front side of this next system, allowing the warm conditions to continue. Temperatures will climb back into the mid 70's.

By Monday night, the cold front will bring scattered showers and a few isolated thunderstorms, mainly after midnight. Rain will come to an end by mid morning Tuesday.

Tuesday and Wednesday will be a bit cooler but near normal for this time of year, with highs in the mid 60's.

The 70's return by Thursday, with rain possible late Thursday night and Friday.
