A spectacular weekend is on tap as dry weather dominants and the warming trend continues. An area of high pressure will slowly move over Quebec this weekend bringing central Indiana sunny skies and light breezes out of the east. Temperatures will climb a few degrees above normal with highs in the upper 60s to near 70 degrees.
It will be a perfect Spring evening for all of the sporting events going on downtown Indy, including the Indiana Pacers, Indians, and Indy Eleven. The air temperature will be in the mid 60s by 7pm. It will be clear and cool tonight with temperatures falling into the mid 40s early Sunday morning. Sunrise is at 7:00 AM.
East Sunday will be beautiful and warmer too. It will be a fantastic day for all of your outdoor activities, including Easter Egg Hunts! Temperatures will climb into the mid 70s with wind out of the south.
Monday will be mainly dry with a weak cold front arriving early evening. It will still be warm with highs in the mid 70s and clouds will increase throughout the afternoon. Rain will becoming likely late Monday, with a few isolated thunderstorms possible.
Cooler weather returns Tuesday and Wednesday but temperatures will still be running near normal for this time of year.
More unsettled weather returns on late Wednesday night through Friday with chances of rain.
