There has been much speculation about who will be the next frontrunner for each party in the race for president in 2016.
Former U.S. Senator and Indiana Governor Evan Bayh was asked Monday when he'll run for president of the United States. His answer: "The next time I get off my medication."
"You know, there was a time that I thought seriously about that, and I concluded - probably accurately - that in a field that included President Obama and Hillary Clinton, the chances of me being nominated by the Democratic Party were not high," Bayh explained.
Bayh spoke at a luncheon at Indiana University hosted by the Greater Bloomington Chamber of Commerce.
He did not give any clues about what his future may hold but he did say he feels best when he's doing something good for other people. He said, it's "just the way I'm wired."
