So how did you enjoy arguably the best weather day of 2014 thus far? After a long, cold and snowy winter… sun and upper 70s is just what the doctor ordered! You can't write a better weather script for the inaugural home match of the Indy Eleven this evening at Carroll Stadium. Enjoy and please scream loud and proud for me too!
Courtesy of steady southwest wind, we're in store for a repeat temperature performance Sunday. Though the sky may not be as bright tomorrow due to cloud debris from upstream thunderstorms.
That balmy breeze will keep temperatures near 60 degrees for lows tonight. That's a good 20 degrees above normal. Highs return to the upper 70s Sunday before a new batch of rain and storms arrive late tomorrow night into Monday morning.
Monday will be a day of transition, from spring temperatures in the 60s to the upper 30s Monday afternoon. Don't' be surprised to see some wet snowflakes mixing in with the rain as colder air aloft pivots across central Indiana.
Highs Tuesday will struggle into the mid-40s before air mass modification kicks in mid-week and we get back to normal Thursday. Have a great evening.
