INDIANAPOLIS -

An Indianapolis man who was already facing charges in a break-in at the Indiana Medical History Museum in December 2013 now faces new counts of burglary and theft.

Evidence at the crime scene tied David Charles to two separate incidents at the museum, which is on the Indianapolis west side.

Charles is accused of breaking into the museum on multiple occasions to steal jars of human brain tissue and other human tissues.

A crime scene specialist collected evidence at the scene, including a scrap of paper with a bloody fingerprint. That piece of evidence matched Charles' pinky finger.

Detectives say stolen items sold on eBay were recovered after the person who bought them became suspicious that they had been stolen from the Indiana Medical History Museum.
