A tranquil weekend is on tap with dry weather dominating Central Indiana. The sunny and dry conditions will allow drying today and Sunday before rain returns on Monday.
The clouds will slowly clear out later this morning. By late afternoon, it will be mostly sunny with highs in the low 50s. The winds will also continue to relax, making way for a pleasant day.
It will be mostly clear tonight with lows in the low 30s.
Sunday will be mostly sunny with increasing clouds by late afternoon. The wind will be out of the southeast, allowing temperatures to climb into the upper 50s to near 60s, near normal for this time of year.
By late Sunday night, an area of low pressure will start to arrive from the Gulf of Mexico. There is a chance of rain early Monday morning and then it will become likely by mid morning. Central Indiana will be on the back side of this low pressure so it will be a chilly, raw, and windy day with temperatures holding near steady in the mid to upper 40s.
A few more showers will be possible Monday night into Tuesday morning.
Another disturbance pushes in on Tuesday afternoon, bringing a chance of some scattered showers.
Mid week will be mainly dry with a gradual warming trend.
There is another chance of rain late Thursday night into Friday morning, as a warm front lifts through the area.
Next Saturday looks sunny and warm with highs near 70 but Sunday could bring more rain.
