Three shootings & stabbing in Indianapolis overnight

Indianapolis Metro Police are investigating three different shootings and a stabbing that kept officers busy overnight.

The first shooting happened about 11:22 Saturday night on the northeast side. One person was confirmed shot at 3201 E. 34th Street. The victim, Marcus Jackson, 29, was taken to Eskenazi Hospital in critical condition.

Then, about 12:27 a.m. Sunday, another shooting was reported on the south side. Danny Reddy, 46, was shot in the hand in the 1200 block of E. Perry Street, near Shelby Street and Troy Avenue.

A third person was confirmed shot on the northwest side. That shooting was reported at 2:17 a.m. Sunday. Officials said the shooting victim was awake and breathing at the scene in the 1100 block of W. 35th Street. The victim was later identified as 19-year-old Dailand Teaundre Butler of Indianapolis.

More gunshots rang out just before 3:00 Sunday morning at Community Westview Hospital on Guion Road. Detectives said someone shot at and hit the building, but no one was hurt.

About 5:30 a.m., IMPD responded to a person stabbed at 36th Street and Manor Court.  That is on the northeast side near 38th Street and Emerson Avenue. 

Investigators did not give any details on whether any arrests were made in connection with any of the incidents.
