A storm system pushes in today, bringing a wintry mix to Central Indiana. Rain will give way to slushy snow through early afternoon. Some snow will accumulate on grassy surfaces with an inch of snow possible, especially in eastern Indiana. The rest of the area will receive less than an inch of snow. It will be a chilly, raw, Winter-like day with temperatures only climbing into the upper 30s with wind chill values in the mid 20s.
High pressure builds in again later tonight, allowing a gradual clearing of the skies. Temperatures will fall into the upper 20s.
Sunday will be more Spring-like with sunny skies and highs in the upper 50s.
Monday will be even warmer and continued dry with highs in the upper 60s to near 70 degrees.
An active pattern arrives after Monday though, bringing several chances of rain.
There is a slight chance of rain late Monday night, as a cold front arrives. Tuesday will be mainly dry and mild.
Rain will be possible Wednesday and it will become likely by Wednesday night. Rain will continue on Thursday with a few thunderstorms possible Thursday as well.
