New study confirms stress can lead to fertility issues

Updated:

Women trying to get pregnant have long suspected that stress might play a role in infertility problems. Now new research backs that up.

Doctors at Ohio State University tracked nearly 400 women for a year, and all were trying to get pregnant. Those who tested higher for a chemical caused by stress were nearly a third less likely to get pregnant each month. They were also twice as likely as other women, to go the whole year without getting pregnant. They also experienced other possible infertility issues.
