Windy Wednesday, spring equinox Thursday, 60s Friday

INDIANAPOLIS -

A few showers will linger through early this evening, but skies will start to clear overnight.  Forecast lows are in the upper 20s to near 30 degrees.

After a cool start Thursday morning, highs will reach the lower and middle 50s.  Spring begins at 12:57 in the afternoon and it will feel like for 2 days.  The warmest will be Friday, with highs in the 60s.

As that warmer air starts to move our way later Thursday and early Friday, there will be clouds and the slight chance for a stray shower.  The bigger story will be the warmth for the first full day of Spring.

That warmth won't last long.  A cold front arrives later Friday evening.  This front may trigger a few showers or a thundershower Friday night.  Much cooler air is back for the weekend.  Highs will be in the 40s on Saturday, but only in the 30s on Sunday.  This unusual Spring chill will last through early next week.  A few flurries are possible on Tuesday.
