It was a cool Thursday across central Indiana, with highs only in the 30s.
There are milder changes on the way and they start Thursday night. As winds increase 10-20mph from the SW, a milder air mass will arrive. Temperatures will be nearly steady overnight and in the upper 20s and lower 30s.
Friday will be warmer day, with highs near 60 degrees. It may not feel that warm, due to those winds SW 15-25mph.
Some of our latest analysis shows 2 weather systems passing just to our south between now and Sunday. Most of the steady rain and snow will stay south, but the systems are close enough for us to track them closely. We can't rule out a stray shower Friday evening, but we are only expecting 1 or 2 to show up on radar.
The tougher system arrives on Sunday. Sunday will be a colder day with highs in the 30s. A light wintry mix will be possible across the southern half of the state. We will keep you updated on any changes. One thing you can expect...more temperature changes. We will be in the 40s on Monday, near 60 on Tuesday, in the 60s Wednesday and chilly again Thursday of next week.
