It will be a cold night, with lows in the teens by early Wednesday morning. There is a weak weather system that will move across the northern half of the state on Wednesday, bringing clouds and the chance for a few flurries. From Indianapolis south, there will be morning sunshine and afternoon clouds. A few flurries are possible, but we are not expecting any snow accumulations on Wednesday.
The bigger story will be the warm-up on the way. Highs will be in the 30s for most of central Indiana on Wednesday and near 40 on Thursday. We are still expecting upper 40s and lower 50s by Friday.
Looking ahead to the weekend, there is a chance for a few showers on Saturday, with highs in the 40s. The weekend will not be a washout, with some sun and highs in the 40s to near 50 on Sunday. Even milder air arrives early next week, with highs in the middle 50s on Monday. There is a chance for rain on Tuesday.
