Pacific Quest Wilderness Therapy Program is Pleased to Announce They Will Host "Ohana Days" and Alumni Reunion in San Franciscos Botanical Garden at Golden Gate Park

On Saturday, March 22, 2014, Pacific Quest will welcome alumni students, parents and siblings to participate in Ohana Days at San Franciscos Botanical Gardens at Golden Gate Park located at Lincoln and 9th Street. This will be an opportunity for alumni to reunite and get re-inspired by working together to complete a volunteer gardening project in this historical, city landmark.
Pacific Quest, an outdoor therapeutic program for struggling adolescents and young adults, is pleased to facilitate this special volunteer, urban gardening project for the city of San Francisco. Suzanne McKinney, Public Relations Director and Co-founder comments,Pacific Quests mission is rooted in true sustainable growth and it is when students learn to engage in their communities and be of service to others, that new levels of growth may be realized. This event will focus on working together on a series of tasks which will greatly enhance the Childrens Garden and the John Muir Trail for years to come.
This free event will be facilitated by Horticultural Therapist, Travis Slagle and Pacific Quest Therapists, Hilary Moses and Mike Sullivan. Lunch, snacks/water, work gloves and gardening tools will be provided.
