Storms move out as cold air moves back in

Updated:
INDIANAPOLIS -

The SkyTrak 13 Weather Team tracked a line of severe storms across central Indiana on Thursday evening.  Most of the storm reports associated with this line were due to damaging winds.  Wind gusts near 60 mph were reported in Indianapolis and Brownsburg and 70 mph near Bloomington.  Wind damage was reported near Tipton, Elwood, Frankfort and Franklin.  The storms move out and more cold air moves our way.

Highs will be near 40 degrees on Friday afternoon and in the 40s on Saturday.  The weekend will start dry, but end with snow chances.  Some accumulating snow can't be ruled out on Sunday and again early next week.  These will be weak and fast moving systems.  We will keep you updated on the timing and how much snow will fall.  Be prepared for the colder air to last through next week.
