The much-talked-about warm up arrives today with highs in the low 40s. As we wait to climb into the mild territory, icy spots will be possible this morning as temperatures are hovering near freezing in a few spots.
For the afternoon, we'll see sunshine and warm temperatures. Our slow melt will begin.
Tonight temperatures fall into the upper 20s. Because we fall below freezing, icy spots will be possible where re-freezing occurs.
Wednesday will again be warm and mild in the 40s.
Thursday highs reach the low to mid 50s with strong to severe thunderstorms possible. Flooding and heavy rain are the biggest threats. We'll keep you posted on the timing we get closer to the storm system moving in.
