NEW YORK, Feb. 10, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Ubiquity Global Services, the business process outsourcing organization, today announced a significant expansion of its international delivery network with the opening of a new contact center in Bacolod, Philippines.

Ubiquity will open its Bacolod site in April 2014. The new site has the capacity for more than 1,000 new employee positions and will be located in the Negros First CyberCentre, a unique mixed technologies facility in the Philippine Visayan region. The CyberCentre is a project of the Province of Negros Occidental under the leadership of Governor Alfredo Maranon, Jr.

"We've been very impressed with the professional talent available in Bacolod and in the Province of Negros Occidental," said Matt Nyren, Ubiquity's founder and president. "Ubiquity has also benefited from the support received from Governor Maranon and Bacolod City Councilor Jocelle Batapa-Sigue since we initiated our search for a second Philippine location. We look forward to rapid expansion in the CyberCenter, which will be an ideal site for the delivery of our servicing solutions."

Ubiquity plans to hire more than 200 employees in Bacolod over the next 90 days and continue operational expansion throughout 2014. Ubiquity's growth in Bacolod is being complemented by similar expansion in Manila, Philippines, San Salvador, El Salvador and Omaha, Nebraska.

"Ubiquity will be the first occupant of the CyberCenter and will serve as an employer of choice for young professionals seeking to advance their careers with a world class outsourcing organization," said Batapa-Sigue, who also founded the Bacolod-Negros Occidental Federation for Information and Communications Technology (BNEFIT). BNEFIT has helped to produce approximately 20,000 IT-BPO jobs and is projecting dramatic growth in the outsourcing sector over the next two years.
