Lots of headlines come out of Pacers practice

INDIANAPOLIS -

Lance is out. Bynum's in town. PG answers uncomfortable questions.

It certainly wasn't your typical Pacers practice Friday.

Coach Frank Vogel says Lance Stephenson is out for Friday night's game against Portland.   Stephenson fell hard Tuesday night driving to the basket against Atlanta. He suffered a bruised back.

The newest Pacer Andrew Bynum made his first appearance with the team Friday. Coach Vogel says don't expect to see Bynum play in game until after the All-Star break.

When Bynum was asked whether he's kept a workout regimen since he last played six weeks ago, Bynum said, "Not really."

Paul George answered questions that have been circulating in the digital world that he may soon become a father through a relationship he had with a woman in Miami.

"If there's legal confirmation, I'll embrace it," George said.

He then asked for privacy.

The Pacers put their league-leading NBA record of 38-10 on the line Friday night against the Trailblazers, another one of the NBA's top teams, at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
