Authorities say shots were fired at a Hawaii high school, causing injuries and prompting a lockdown.
Honolulu Department of Emergency Services spokeswoman Shayne Enright said the shooting happened Tuesday morning at Roosevelt High School in Honolulu.
An official who answered the phone at the school said the school was locked down.
Two police officers were coming to school to pick up a runaway student, who reportedly stabbed one of the officers in the chest. He is expected to be okay. The other police officer shot the student in the arm. That is the situation as reported by KHNL.
KHNL reports the school will be dismissed early.
