Schools on two hour delays and closed Monday

Updated:
INDIANAPOLIS -

More than 280 schools and businesses in and around central Indiana are on a two hour delays or closed Monday due to the bitter cold temperatures moving in overnight.

Click here to see a complete listing of schools, businesses and government agencies that are delaying or closing tomorrow.

Another quick snow maker moved through Indiana overnight, as arctic air gets ready to settle into the state.

The fast-moving system blew in before midnight, and coupled with a high wind warning, created some white out conditions.  Along and north of I-70, a Winter Weather Advisory is in effect until noon Monday.

Very cold air moved in behind the snow, as temperatures dropped 20 degrees in about two hours after Midnight.

A Wind Chill Warning goes into effect Monday, and will continue through Wednesday.  Very strong winds will be with us through Wednesday.

This is dangerous cold, please be safe and check on friends, neighbors, and pets.

A warm up is coming our way for next weekend, with highs near freezing, and a chance of a rain/snow mix.
