Paul George converted a four-point play late in regulation to force overtime and came up with a big steal in the extra period to seal a 116-111 Indiana win over Sacramento.
George scored 36 points for the Pacers, who got double-figure scoring out of all five starters in the win. With Indiana down four points in the closing seconds, the All-Star starter hit a 3-pointer while drawing a foul from Derrick Williams. The ensuing free throw tied the game with 15.1 seconds left and the Pacers defense held at the other end to force overtime.
George scored eight of the Pacers' 13 points in overtime, including two free throws after stealing the ball from Thomas with 12.6 seconds remaining.
Indiana had trailed by as many as 17 points in the contest.
Lance Stephenson scored 24 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to join Roy Hibbert (10 points, 11 rebounds) as Pacers finishing the game with a double-double.
Marcus Thornton scored 42 points for the Kings to go with 38 points from Isaiah Thomas in the defeat.
The Pacers will travel to Denver to take on the Nuggets Saturday night at 9:00 p.m. EST.
