A bitter cold morning in Indiana Wednesday with many towns beginning the day at temperatures below zero. Look for blowing snow in many outlying areas and more snow on the way later today.
Wind chills this morning are running -2 to -17.
Highs will only reach the upper teens today with clouds on the increase. Snow is expected to develop late this afternoon into this evening, making for a messy commute.
Light snow continues tonight. Many spots will receive up to an inch of snow, but a few areas, especially along and north of I-70, could get up to 2″ of snow.
Tonight the winds will really pick up, gusting up to 30 mph and creating blowing and drifting snow, plus dangerous wind chills down to -30.
The wind chill sticks around Thursday with the chance for a few more snow showers.
Friday, we're in for wind again, and increasing clouds. Friday afternoon and evening snow develops. Light accumulating snow looks likely at this point, lasting into Saturday morning.
