INDIANAPOLIS -

The SkyTrak 13 Weather Team is tracking the potential for another disruptive round of snow for Friday.

We expect a rough day today with slick spots, blowing snow and strong gusty winds. We have received reports of snow squalls north and west of Indianapolis in early morning hours.

The morning rush hour has been slick with falling snow and some treacherous driving conditions.  Look for 1 to 2 inches of additional snow on Friday.

Among the traffic snarls - a semi flipped on the exit ramp from northbound I-65 to U.S. 52 north of Lebanon in Boone County.  That ramp was closed.  Northbound I-65 traffic was limited to one lane.

Some schools decided to delay classes.  See the current list here.

Indianapolis DPW trucks have been working through the night and city streets were mostly clear but wet at 5:00 a.m.  They will stay on duty through the morning rush hour.

Carmel plows were working hard to get ready for commuters, and many streets will still snow-covered at 5:00 a.m.  Carmel Schools were scheduled to start on time.

Another Alberta Clipper moves into Indiana Saturday. This system may over-perform compared to past systems. We're calling for 2-4 inches of snow Saturday and Saturday night, with the heaviest snow north of Interstate 70.

Sunday, things will settle down as the sun breaks out and we top out in the mid 30s.
