Snow moving through central Indiana

Updated:
INDIANAPOLIS -

The SkyTrak 13 Weather Team is tracking snow across central Indiana. The steady bursts of snow quickly sticks to roads, reduces visibilities and creates hazardous driving conditions.

The steady snow band that is moving through early this afternoon will be in eastern Indiana by early this evening.

Snow totals will be widespread 1-3 inches. So far 2″ has been reported in Terre Haute and 1.6″ in Indianapolis. There will be more flurries and light snow overnight and Friday, with another inch of snow possible. It will be cold enough for slick roads through Friday.

Most areas will stuck in the teens on Friday. Another round of snow is on the way for Saturday.  We are forecasting up to 3 additional inches of snow. This will fall on Saturday. Arctic air takes over next week.  We will keep you updated.
